綠色生活小組於二零零八年三月十日，由中大校園環境美化委員會批准成立，包括以下成員：

左治強先生 (中文大學樹木計劃召集人)
李賢祉博士 (生物系榮譽高級研究員)
朱利民教授 (校園環境委員會主席)
黃秉雄先生 (中文大學園藝組經理)
游中驥先生 (中文大學前園藝組經理)
鄭兆斌先生 (中文大學園藝組)
李雪梅女士 (中文大學校友)
陳錦良博士 (中醫中藥學院導師)
工作範圍：
協助聯繫校友，教職員，學生提高綠色生活環保意識，加強認識，關心和愛護校園動植物習性生態
為校友，教職員，學生組織有關綠色生活的活動，如園藝班，學習團等等
就校友，教職員，學生關心的課題，向中大校園環境美化委員會提意見
Terms of Reference of the Green Education Group (Approved by CLEC on March 10, 2009)

To raise awareness of green lifestyles and help promote communication among students, staff, faculties & alumni with particular reference to experiential learning and appreciation of campus flora and fauna |

To organize regular hands-on activities, visits, and get practical experience from field experts in relation to horticulture and green education by working with students, staff, faculties and alumni |
| 3. |
To recommend for consideration of the Campus Landscaping Enhancement Committee (CLEC) issues of green education of interest to students, staff, faculties and alumni |
